Denver's roofing rules are the strictest in the corridor: a company licence, and behind it a person holding a Roof Covering and Waterproofing supervisor certificate. Those requirements belong to the City and County of Denver. They stop at its boundary. Aurora is a different jurisdiction.

Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region
A passed ICC contractor exam is required, and licences from other jurisdictions are not accepted.
The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department accepts ICC National Standardized or ICC Colorado Standard exams passed on or after January 1, 2017. A contractor licensed in Denver is not thereby licensed here.
What to ask: Ask for the PPRBD licence number and verify it on the department’s licence status lookup.
